We were never made to dress like everyone else
Clothing is not a surface layer. It is the first thing that says something about you before you have said it yourself.
02.1The origin
It started with a discomfort.
Why should something as intimate as a garment made for one person be born from a pattern drawn for anyone? A catalogue. A silhouette decided in advance. Options closed before you arrived.
We asked what would happen if we changed the order of things. If instead of adapting the body to the garment, we made the design come from the body. From the person.
Romeo Funacci comes from there. Not to add another suit to a wardrobe, but to stop dressing models and start dressing people.
The suit was never the starting point. You are.
It was not about making more clothes. It was about making what you wear mean something.
02.2The belief
A garment is not there to disguise you. It is there to hold you up.
We believe clothing should be a natural extension of whoever wears it. Not an office uniform. Not a throwaway trend. Not a costume for fitting in.
But something that, once on, fits so exactly that it seems inevitable.
02.3The concept
Tailored identity
You are not buying a suit: you are building an extension of your own character. The process is intimate, exclusive and personal, and it happens once for each piece.
The lineage
The technical precision of haute couture crossed with a cult imaginary: our Hydra, the engraving, the clean and cutting geometry. Long before clothing was fashion, it was defence.
The future
A long relationship. Once you enter the atelier and your measurements are kept, you gain direct access to unrepeatable pieces made for your silhouette alone.

We are not interested in repeating patterns, or in making the same commission twice. We want every piece to say something about whoever wears it.
